NOTD is 19-year old Samuel Brandt and 22-year old Tobias Danielsson, who met one another on Soundcloud prior to coincidentally attending the same high school in southern Sweden. Since their first release, the pair have accumulated over 1.3 billion streams across all digital platforms and is fresh of 25 tour dates opening for ZEDD in the U.S. and Europe. At their start, the pair was called upon for official remixes by pop music's elite: Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, Sia, Alessia Cara, and Rihanna. After exploding onto the scene reworking other artists’ hit records, the duo shifted their focus to creating original music. March 2018 brought the wholly infectious ‘I Wanna Know,’ with pop sensation Bea Miller. The song broke into Top 40 Radio in the US and has, to date, achieved Platinum status in the U.S, Australia (2x), Canada, Norway, and Sweden. Their follow up 2019 hit single, “So Close”, quickly reached the Top 50 charts in over 25 countries, and has since earned Gold status in the US, Sweden, Canada, Norway, and Australia. The song hit #1 on the Dance Radio Airplay charts in the U.S. and became the duo’s first U.S. Top 40 Pop Radio hit, peaking at #26. “So Close” was also nominated for Best Dance Song at the 2020 iHeart Radio Music Awards (March 2020).
