Tshepo Rogate Mohlala better known as Alfa Van Kat is a musician born and raised in Mpumalanga-Bushbuckridge . Tshepo's music career started in 2008 when he was exposed to local hip hop music and got inspiration from his home-based artists. He started Reciting established artists rhymes, artists such as Crusha , EM-CooL, Dj-Flex, Dj-Touch He believes that the influence was heavy on him as they used his mother tongue and they told allot of real stories. Later on, he learned how to write his own lyrics. Always being a dancer, he got introduced to choreography and started creating dance routines with other dancers his neighborhood.
