I accentuated a certain yearning of the original that made me question the emotional state the person is in. She remains unsure about her position, until she gets more evidence. Eventually, she becomes completely sure of the situation and when she does, all the elements of the tune appear. Before she achieves this, you can always only hear a couple of them. As you can tell from the arc of the remodel, she reaches the happiness she wants at the end, which is why we conclude the piece with her voice alone.
