This track is my own personal spin on Let Me Love. It has two role models of mine surrounding it. Dia Frampton of ARCHIS, The Voice, and Meg and Dia fame, has been a role model of mine for years now, inspiring me to continue with music creation. This song is also inspired in part by the passing of another role model of mine, Monty Oum, who passed away recently. He was all about creation and creativity, not letting anything get in the way of what you wanted to make. His passing is honored by the creation of anything. Songs, dance, art, anything. This is one way I wish to honor him.
The song itself is inspired by the electro house/EDM movement, from the likes of Kaskade, Zedd, Madeon, and deadmau5. Unlike other songs commonly associated with the electro house and dubstep genres, I placed a greater importance on the mood and melody of the track during its creation, wanting the involvement of everything from heavy bass and massive synths, to dramatic pianos, organs, and vocoders, all combined into a unique twist on the final track of the ARCHIS EP. I didn't want to try and simply copy the dramatic, overwhelming tone from the original, and I didn't want to approach this with the idea that I was going to "improve" the original, but that I was simply putting my own twist onto it. I've put a ton of work into this remix, and I really hope you enjoy it!
