So Sus

Born in Zimbabwe and now residing in Canada, So Sus is a forward-thinking DJ/producer pushing sonic boundaries as head of Vancouver based musical collective, Crystals. The producer has caught the attention of top tier DJs Such as Skrillex, Alison Wonderland, The Chainsmokers, Whipped Cream, Benzi, Ookay & Tynan. He has had his music played on radio stations around the world such as BBC (UK), Triple J (Australia) and 5FM (South Africa) and been featured in publications such as Run The Trap, Earmilk and Fuxwithit. His catalog includes releases on labels such as Jadu Dala, Westwood Recordings (where his track Code was chosen as one the top releases on the label in 2019), Jayceeoh’s Super 7 Label, a remix for Tails and Inverness on Parametric (Atlantic Records). It’s clear that his unique sound that hinges on percussive synthesis, heavy syncopation, and unconventional sound design has him slated to be one of the most interesting figures in a new wave of trap and bass music.
