Set to be making his way through the ranks of new wave Producer/DJ’s on the UK underground House circuit, Shao-lyng Blessed (S.L. Blessed) is one to keep your eye on as he is gaining a strong loyal following within the scene & online. 2016 looks to be a big year for the Reading born producer/Dj, with a string of original releases & remixes coming out on his co-owned Door 54 & Abstract 5th Record labels. His production styles influenced by old school House & Garage to which he incorporates a twist of his own raw, minimal but energetic sound over some swinging heavy hitting drum patterns. Shao-lyng Blessed is also a member & founder of the DJ collective called ‘House of Bamboo Project’ who play the Soulful, Latin & Afro sub-genres of House music. They’re residents at one of the UK’s biggest up & coming Soulful House events named ‘Back 4 Love’ and have a regular slot on New York based radio station ‘Philly Nights’ for the ‘Soulful Sessions Show’ where you can catch the guys hosting the show alongside some the biggest names on the House scene today such as Todd Terry, Roland Clark, Spen, Richard Earnshaw, Groove Assassins, Mr. V and many more.
