Producer, Mastering Engineer

Robert Hoogduin, alias Roberto DaVinci (Holland), born 1969, started his DJ career in 1987. While house music was born in 1988, DaVinci already had his first gig. He started his public career in one of Haarlem's most famous underground clubs called "Dwiezels". At the same time, he was also experimenting with "cutting and pasting" mixes using taperecorders. When his first mix was created at home, Radio 3FM, Holland's number one radio station, showed interest in his skills and aired his first real mix. During the mid 90's, DaVinci increased his efforts to develop his skills and love for being a DJ. Although doing it part time, these efforts paid off as DaVinci won local DJ championships and earned a spot in the finals of the Dutch Live DJ Mix Championships. Roberto DaVinci received many invitations to perform at parties during the 90's, but at the start of 2000, he and two close (DJ) friends started to organize Classic House Parties themselves called "Reborn". Those parties were a great success, and left those in attendance to only want more. Roberto DaVinci and his two friends ended up organizing over 40 of those parties, throughout the 00's. Currently he still performs at several parties in Holland, but remains one of the main events in Holland's oldest club called "Club Stalker". Some other very large events he has performed at are, A Day at the Park, Wooferland, Holland's "Bevrijdingspop" (Libertation pop – over 100.000 visitors), Loveland Festival, Bungalup, Vrij Festival, Pathfinder Festival, Awakenings, Dutch Kingsday, and so on. Although his former experience would suggest that he is a real classic and eclectic DJ, music does change and evolves, and nowadays DaVinci is well versed into the Deep- and (Tech-)House, with his own classic twist. With DJ Manolo, he also plays at various events, such as Private events, Business Events, Festivals, etc. under the name "FunkSoulBrothers". Nowadays, besides playing at several parties, Roberto DaVinci has his own radioshow called BLEND on Amsterdam's Freak31.com channel. In that hour he 'Blends' the best in Deep-, tech- and classic housemusic
