II. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE PRACTICES
A. What Basic Information Does SKIO Collect?
We typically collect personal information that you provide to us on a voluntary basis, and you may visit areas on the Site without choosing to do so. However, in order to use or access certain portions of the Site, you will be required to create an account by providing us your email address and legal name (an “Account”). You might also desire to contact our customer support team via emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. In contacting customer support, you might be requested to provide additional information beyond your email address, including your name, full address and phone number for identification and contact purposes.
SKIO may request additional information from you, including but not limited to, Google Drive for synchronization and Soundcloud, Facebook and Twitter accounts, in order to provide you with tailored services to suit your needs.
B. What Does SKIO Do With Collected Information?
(1) PERSONAL INFORMATION. We will not share your personal information with any third parties without your consent, except as necessary to provide you with the services offered by us, to comply with the law or as otherwise described in this Policy. Your personal information will be used by SKIO to provide direct invoicing to you for additional membership services and fees. We may use your personal information to verify your identity or to check your qualifications and title to copyright, to manage your Account and Site experience, to inform you of any changes to the Site, or to send you additional information about SKIO.
(2) ANALYTICAL INFORMATION. We use two different types of analytical information, social media harvesting and internal analytics, to improve your overall experience with the Site and to analyze the Site traffic. Social media harvesting of the fan databases enables members that have registered for the service to view their own fan databases and the fan databases of others in order to better tailor strategic marketing to meet each member’s own needs. This also enables members to more accurately identify and reach particular social and geographical demographics. Our internal analytics include logging the number of views and clicks on the Site. These services enable SKIO to individualize and create a unique experience for each user of the Site.
We may use anonymous IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers, to administer the Site, or to display the content according to your preferences. Traffic and transaction information may also be shared with business partners and advertisers on an aggregate and anonymous basis.
(3) INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED. SKIO will provide you with the option of logging on or accessing the Site through other social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. If you choose to use this option, you may be asked to allow these social media platforms to share your personal and account information with SKIO. SKIO will collect and use this information to enhance your Site experience.
SKIO has security measures in place to ensure the safekeeping of your personal information. However, no network can be 100% guaranteed. To this extent, we cannot represent nor warrant the safety of any information provided to us. Additionally, SKIO cannot represent nor warrant the safety of any personal information as disclosed between artists and members.
