About this Remix

Having the shot to create something for Switchfoot is really a once in a lifetime opportunity. This remix came really spontaneously, but my intention was to really colour out of the lines and see what the band would sound like over something with a bit of an edgy hip-hop vibe, while maintaining the rock elements, as well as making sure the energy was over the roof. My aim was also to give the track a bit of a cosmic feel hence "float", as if one was was travelling through space; so I made sure there was depth and dynamics for one to sink into. I really like your Remix. You added something I hadn't related Switchfoot with. Even though you're not a winner of this contest you definitely won my ear with this one. I'd love to have it on my phone to hit play every once in a while.

I love all the elements in this - I wish you had limited the song a bit less so I could hear them with a bit more clarity. Song is colored very well. The breaks in your choruses are unique but I think it works.
