OnyxSeven

Shane aka OnyxSeven first got into electronic music around the year 2000, when a friend of his took him to one of his first warehouse parties, which featured drum & bass heavyweights Cause 4 Concern. Little did he know about electronic music back then. Coming from a Metal background, the electronic scene interested him as it was something completely different. He instantly got into the music and the vibe of the warehouse feel, hearing beats pumped out on a massive club sound system. Soon after his first warehouse party, he purchased his first set of Turntables and began to learn to DJ. By 2003, he started experimenting and making his own beats. He has played out at many warehouse parties, house parties and clubs around Perth including Shape and Villa. Supporting artists such as Dub FX, Opiuo and Run DMT. Come mid 2013 he was signed exclusively under the name T3KTONIK to Sons Of Noise Records UK, a well respected bass music label. His debut release, "Inject The Venom LP" was to follow later that year. His second release, "Filthy Neurohop" EP, made up of purely Neurohop/Glitch Hop, was a major success amongst Beatport and other Internet vendors. The album climbed the Top 100 albums on Beatport charts to #47. In 2014, he has released his third album "Eyes All Over Me EP" which featured at #38 in the Top 100 albums charts on Beatport. This album is truly a work of art, combining luscious vocals with filthy neuro-driven basslines. Now, in 2016, he is looking to broaden his spectrum with his side-project OnyxSeven. Expect trance-infused Bass Music with a distinct Neuro sound. Currently unsigned, he has had much interest with new bass music labels looking to snap him up. This is the sounds of OnyxSeven...
