Jay Totani (known professionally as netanya) is an Australian electronic music producer, best known for his 2019 breakthrough singles 'Lemme Go' and 'Nothin Like U'. Netanya produces a variety of styles usually within the House and Future Bass genres. His work has been included in compilation albums such as Le Bien Et Le Mal Recordings' Electro House Nation and High Pro-File Recordings' EDM Rave Anthems, under former alias Sam Vuuren. After his 2015 singles Lights in Motion and God of Israel, he worked with Jason Maek and Zaena on two remixes for their songs 'Birthday' and 'Get Up' from the Fashion Week Visual Album in 2016, which were cut from release, and released an EP titled Hey Cutie on the same year. While Netanya collaborated with Christina Marie Magenta on two songs in 2017, he also reached the top 75 in Future Bass, Trap and Dubstep charts in the Spinnin Records Talent Pool with the old demos 'Helplessly', 'Lights in Motion', and 'Crush'. In 2018, Netanya produced remixes of three songs, which received enough attention for him to continue releasing new music. In 2019, his breakthrough single 'Lemme Go' - which featured vocals from Marco from Maltese pop group RoundRobin - garnered over 50k streams on Spotify during the first three months, while Nothin Like U - which featured credited vocals from Platinum artist Adam Moss - gained 10k streams on Spotify during its first month.
