Mingsta

Mingsta was born in Trinidad and Tobago and later migrated to the United States (Brooklyn, NY).  While in Trinidad, Mingsta gained a vital appreciation for calypso, soca, and reggae music. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, Mingsta was exposed to diverse music genres, which would later set fuel to his musical fire. (Hip Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, Soul, etc). Mingsta relocated to Baltimore, MD and on numerous visits back to NY, Mingsta was able to meet and work with many talented artists and producers. Baltimore, MD, the total opposite of NY, opened many different musical avenues for Mingsta and greatly impacted his talent. The way Mingsta looks at things, he has only has only scratched the surface of what he plans to do with his music. Mingsta is a fresh combo of West Indian and American culture.
