This Stem Pack is totally off. No vocals or basically anything of use. This was the one I most wanted to remix, but..there is nothing from the preview.

I've tried to contact Maxi through skio to see if I could help but no one gets back to me. I wasn't even asking for money or anything. I was trying to get better stems too for a bunch of songs but I just decided I would make it work somehow, it was def a challenge, & I learned some cool tricks to deal with it. I doubt they will ever notice :-/

this was a common problem amongst pretty much all the Maxi catalogue here on skio. I think the problem with the stems is that the master tapes for many of these were on DAT tapes and they most probably were not stored correctly. I don't think there is anyone left at Maxi with the technical wherewithal to remedy the situation.
