Leon Thompson better known as High Life is changing the way music is made as he paints colorful pictures and creates captivating imagery with his music that is not only Hip Hop but Cinematic and New Age. "With signature melodic synths, and powerful and classic drum patterns, I am trying to reintroduce creativity and passion back into hip hop." The name High Life stems from my desire to see myself as well as others live beyond what others expect from them as well as surpassing societies standards, raising the bar in every part of their lives. That's the High Life brand. Growing up in Detroit, Michigan I was exposed to poverty crime and drugs at an early age as well as being a product of a single family home. I saw my brother fall victim to his environment and I became determined to create a better life for myself. I have since then moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue my dream as a music producer. With only a little over 8 months worth of producing experience, I have been able to garner over 15,000 SoundCloud plays and counting, thousands of followers and fans across social media and placement opportunities with the hit show Power, as well as Love and Hip Hop with other contracts with big name companies in the works.
