Kruff's initial introduction to music came about when he was a very young boy in Cape Town, South Africa.
His late father Norman Dennis Murray was a worship leader in a Gospel church and often kept the drum kit at their family home in Eesteriver.
By the tender age of 2 Kruff had his first experience with music, and by age 6 he was playing music in the church.
Brought up by strict christian parents, Kruff soon learned about respect and disipline in all forms of life.
In 2003 his family moved to Auckland, New Zealand where he discovered a deep love for alternative hip-hop after a late night ALT TV experience of Quasimoto's "Come On Feet". In 2004 he started making beats on FL Studio 3 and hasn't stopped since.
