There are always 2 challenges with making a remix - coming up with your idea/concept, and then making sure it's in key. Brian makes excellent points about the latter. Your idea is on point, but your key execution needs some work. Keep grinding, and have fun : )

Hey Travis, using a piano roll, you will need two things correct (basically) for a chord to be in key. 1) The root (the key), and 2) the maj/min version of the chord, which of course affects/directs the scale, too. Here is a wiki with info about the conversions, if that's useful: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chord_names_and_symbols_(popular_music)

Intro is very sci-fi soundtrack. :) The music is in a diff key that the vocals, however, so tune that up to give it a much better representation. This is especially true @00:39. Great, creative ideas as usual, though, man! Have fun with it!

Note on scale? Cuz when you put something on scale your putting notes on the correct scale key of the piano roll right? And the scale on the piano roll is just the one corresponding key meaning the picture of the piano key on the piano roll?
