Haliux

An upcoming 19 year old DJ/producer from Kontich (Antwerp, Belgium) trying to make a name for himself. Spends a lot of time listening to music, making fantastic mixes with it and produces some of his own music too. He started djing when he bought his first turntables when he was 13 years old. Always loved listening to music, but wanted to do more with it. It took until 2012 when he recorded his first tech-house mixtape, followed by a deep dubstep mixtape and a few drum & bass mixtapes. It was fun but he wanted to do something more, so he started producing his own music. With the time he played at small local events and got noticed by basszooka events. He played at allmost all of their events with headliners like Hypoxia. In the summer of 2014, Haliux got influenced by the deep house scéne ant decided to make a deep house mixtape. With this mixtape, dj licious chose him to win the Laundry Day Dj soldiers contest and he got a chance to prove himself warming up the festival-goers. With this same mixtape he all so conquered a spot on the Music Never Stops 2014 Event with headliners like Fox Stevenson, Station Earth, Venemy,.. Playing deep house did not keep him from playing drum & bass sometimes. He scored a 2nd place at the Motion Dj contest in Nootuitgang with Athys (Athys & Duster, Hypoxia) and Station Earth as a jury. In the meantime Haliux started taking off with producing, winning a remix competition by Climactic records. His first remix is released on the 1st february 2015 on beatport, itunes, amazon, juno, spotify, ... . Next releases and free downloads are coming your way! Haliux continued playing deep house and plays this genre most of his sets nowadays.
