About this Song
What a fun song to work with!
However, I am away for the weekend, which means I only have my crappy old MacBook with me, but I couldn't resist. I made this in about two hours in Cubase Elements 8, which means:
No Sidechaining - I drew automation curves by hand to simulate it.
No usable pitch editing - I had to bounce after every melodyne edit.
Almost none of my usual synths.
No MIDI keyboard - I drew every single note.
None of my usual ambient soundpacks.
Very limited number of tracks - again, I had to bounce the saws and edit the audio, otherwise my laptop would have croaked.
Only basic bussing and sends.
Mastered on laptop speakers, I don't even have my headphones with me.
I had a lot of fun working around these limitations and I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Enjoy!
