Can I cancel my SKIO subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your SKIO subscription at any time, and your account will automatically switch to the Basic Tier at the end of your subscription period.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my SKIO subscription?
No, SKIO does not offer refunds for subscriptions, but you can continue to use the Essential plan or SKIO Plus features until the end of your subscription period.
Does SKIO receive royalties on the remixes?
Generally, no. SKIO does not typically receive royalties on remixes. In some cases, where SKIO decides to partner with independant artists to help grow and promote their projects, we may be offered a small, non-controlling stake in the royalties on select remixes.
How do I update my payment information?
To update your payment information, go to your account settings and select the “Billing” tab. From there, you can update your payment method and billing information.
How do I upgrade to SKIO Plus?
To upgrade to the Essential plan or SKIO Plus, simply go to your account settings and select the subscription plan of your choice.
How does SKIO benefit?
SKIO generates revenue through its contest hosting and subscription services and the SKIO store, where community members can buy plugins, samples and other music creator tools and services that SKIO is partnered with and/or licensed to distribute.
How much does a SKIO subscription cost?
The Essential plan costs $6/mo USD and SKIO Plus costs $15/mo USD.
How much does it cost to have a SKIO account?
It is free to create a SKIO account, but certain features may require a subscription.
What are the different subscription tiers?
SKIO offers three different subscription tiers: the Basic Tier which is free, and the Essential and SKIO Plus tiers, which require a paid subscription.
What features are included in the Basic Tier?
The Basic Tier includes access to featured remix contests and original song contests and the ability to collaborate with other SKIO members.
What features are included in the Pro Tiers?
SKIO Plus and the Essential plan include all the features of the Basic Tier, plus access to the SKIO library of samples and song stems, unlimited downloads, bigger savings and discounts on plugins and gear from the SKIO Store, and 20% off SKIO services like Song Feedback.
What forms of payment does SKIO accept?
SKIO accepts payment via credit card and PayPal.
