Diego Miranda - a Portuguese DJ and electronic music producer - has made it into the DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs poll once again. By reaching the 58th position among the Top 100 DJs in the world (moving up 12 spots from last year’s #70), he has confirmed being the most international of all Portuguese DJs. The British Magazine revealed their annual list with names such as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Avicii, or David Guetta, where Diego Miranda has been amongst the best for the last years.  He has been credited for bringing dance closer to the mainstream genre in a magical way, which has gained him great international prominence. Diego Miranda is a constant resident in one of the best clubs in the world, according to DJ Mag: Ushuaia Beach Hotel (Ibiza) and Green Valley (Brazil). Last year, he played at the biggest festivals in the world, such as "Sunburn" in India and "Spring Festival" in Taiwan. His tours have gone through several countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. Diego Miranda has been the headliner of "Happy Holi", the largest festival of colors in Portugal and Brazil, and has participated in all Carlsberg Editions alongside names such as Axwell V Ingrosso, Nervo, Armin Van Buuren, and others. This summer, he was invited to play at Martin Garrix’ parties in Ushuaia Ibiza, and he was also a resident of "Life in Colour" parties at Privilege, also in Ibiza. Some of his tracks have been on BeatportTop, e.g. "Tequila", which reached the top 20, or "Drop that Bass in Loud Sucka". Diego Miranda has also already worked with international artists such as Miss Palmer or Tara McDonald. Currently, his single "Turn The Lights Out" feat. Mikkel Solnado is at the top of national and international radio stations and MtvTops. Diego Miranda was the only Portuguese DJ to be nominated as Best Portuguese Talent by MTV Ema's. He is now preparing to release new collaborations with various artists such as Alok, Wolfpack, and Wao, and also his new single "Never Surrender" feat. Mod Martin, which will be out soon. This year, he will be at one of the biggest festivals in the world. This is a surprise and therefore his performance will be anounced at the right time. But his career did not start here. Chronology Diego Miranda's impressive journey to become the DJ he is today, began when he was 14 years old, by absorbing heavier beats and sounds. From his early years in the music scene, Diego earned respect and recognition in the Portuguese market, as well as alongside top national and international DJs. He has won several awards, all of which recognise his excellence as a DJ. He received the Dance Club Awards and Portugalnight Awards in the category of "DJ Revelation" in 2006. Diego was also awarded two gold albums with "Hello Love 2 Dance" (2006) and "Portugalnight" (2007). Diego Miranda has played some of the best dance parties and festivals in the world, including “Rock in Rio”, “Sensation White”, “MTV Shakedown”, or “Creamfields”. He began to pave his way up to the international music scene in 2009 with the hit “Ibiza for Dreams”, having since then accomplished an unrivalled status, which has led him to the shows he now plays in prestigious clubs all over the globe. He is a favourite at “Ushuaia Beach Hotel”, and has graced one of the world’s highest rated clubs - according to DJ Mag - “Green Valley” (Brazil). In September 2011, Diego Miranda became one of the few DJ-producers in the world, whose musical talent and hard work landed him an MTV European Music Award nomination, one of the most prestigious awards in music. This nomination contributed significantly to the appreciation of dance music in Portugal and across the world. In the same year, the prestigious "Ushuaia Beach Hotel Ibiza" invited him to produce and edit their first album of originals. Over the last years, Diego Miranda has consistently been on the list of the top 100 DJs in the world. His career is allways in gradually grow: Year after year, he has gone up position, allways assuming a career in progress. He produced hits like “Ibiza for Dreams feat. Liliana”, “Sunshine with Villanova feat. David Cruz” and “Girlfriend feat. Ana Free” that were #1 hits for many consecutive weeks on the national charts, radio stations, and television, and landed in the world's top 10 hits, according to MTV Brazil. Once again, Diego Miranda showed his prowess for production. This time, with the hit "Born Slippy", which was picked for the "PACHA de Ibiza" album in 2013 and was deeply applauded by the public. Recently, he has released songs like “She’s The One feat. Gramp’s Morgan”, “Say Goodbye feat. Stephenie Coker”, and “Take Your Time" with the Brazilian producer Antonio Eudi. In 2013, Diego Miranda released his new album of original tracks, which rely on telling his lifestyle and passions. This new record includes a lineup of national and international prestigious artists, including Peetah Morgan, Ana Free, Ester Campos, Irina Popa, Kate Abreu, David Cruz, Orlando Santos Mc D’Queen, and Nuno Guerreiro.  A few months after the release of his debut album “Say Yeah”, Diego Miranda, the most ambitious Portuguese DJ and producer, sees his talent recognized worldwide.  In the same year, Diego was the only Portuguese to enter the DJ Mag Top 100, getting the 94th position.
