Growing up, I always imagined being on stages and performing for large crowds. I never wanted to be a fireman, a police officer, an astronaut, or any of the other things my peers wanted to be; I always saw myself being a music artist. I loved to sing.

I was in the 7th grade when I joined choir for the first time, and I loved it. I stayed in choir both the 8th and 9th grade. After 9th grade, I started to lose interest for singing; I felt choir ruined it for me. I fell away from singing, and started to write poems instead.

Writing poems turned into writing verses, and writing verses turned into writing whole songs. Writing was my outlet to vent my frustrations and emotions, and for the first time in a while, I started to fall in love with music again. After I started to realize more and more that music was something I loved to make, I wanted to sing again.

In the 11th grade I started making cover videos and uploading them to YouTube. I was nervous to upload my videos at first, thinking "What if everybody hates my voice?" But the more I uploaded, the more positive feedback I received. I started to get more confident in myself, and decided to continue making covers through my senior year of high school.

The summer before my freshman year of college, I met a boy named Luis. He was looking for singers that had potential, and wanted to work with me as a manager of sorts. He told me he didn't want money, he just wanted to help make me reach my goals. We started to hang out more and more, and eventually started working together.

At the start of my freshman year of college, I began to write songs again. I had just got out of a relationship and wanted to vent my emotions somewhere. I started by writing a song called "Flawed". I wrote 5 songs in my first month at college, and realized I could make an EP out of them.

I went looking around at different studios that could help me produce and record my album, but quickly learned I didn't have the funds to have my EP produced. I felt like giving up, thinking it was just a dumb college dream, until one day I wandered into a Guitar Center. I was looking around, when I found a room full of synthesizers. In that room I found a launchkey, and immediately knew I was going to make that EP one way or another. I bought the synthesizer and taught myself how to use Ableton and FL Studio. A month later I released my EP on Soundcloud.

I started to network more with other music artists around my town, state, soundcloud, and anywhere else I could. All the while, I was making some great connections with some really creative individuals.

Now I'm working on some more projects I hope to release soon, and I'm determined to make it to the top.

This track is my rendition of a track I worked on with another producer named Plan C. He needed some vocals for his song "Time and Space", so I wrote some lyrics and a week later we got together and I put my vocals on his song. I took a heavy Future Bass EDM song and turned it into a relaxed, mellowed out, comforting pop song.

I wrote Dirt about the person I had just broken up with. I felt hurt, lied to, and heartbroken, and transferred those emotions into the lyrics. When I produced this track I wanted to give it a sort of edgy electronic pop sound. I wanted this person to know that I felt like I was just dirt to them.

I wrote Carolina about the person I had just broken up with. In this song, I wrote a few lines about how I felt like I was just being strung along the whole time. I felt used. This person ended up moving to South Carolina, so I titled the song "Carolina".
