Dekitaly

Dekitaly aka Andrea Bertrand was born in a small town of the Northwestern coast of Italy. He has been fascinated by music and night life scene from the early age of 14, when his brother Davide brought home a pair of turntables and a very old mixer. Hours and hours of practice and no wonders the neighbourhood was always complaining for the loud music. At 16 years old he was already carrying his vinyls bag to the only club in town and sometimes the resident dj let him play a short warm up at the Sunday afternoon parties. Eight years later, in 2008 he moved to Bangkok where he studied and graduated as an Audio Engineer at the famous SAE Institute. Under the name “Andrea Bertrand“ he played in several venues around the Thai capital - to name a few: Oskar, Wine I love you, Scarlett, AmBar, Fashion Lounge @ Koi, Cafe DEMOC, Black Pagoda, The Pent, Sherbet, Glow, Club Culture, Kolour Sundays and Team Club Martini in Chiang Mai - until he got a residency at Bed Supperclub (the most famous Club, Bar, Restaurant in Bangkok) where he played Friday & Saturday night for 3 years. In 2013 Bed Supperclub closed down, Andrea started a new Thursday night residency at Fashion Lounge @ Koi, meanwhile the manager of Route66 Club - a lifelong and still the biggest club in town - called him to take care of the recent born “Classic Room”, where Andrea met his future colleague & best friend Andy (Dekitalothai). Both italians got along so well that they formed “Italian Kidz”, a DJ-duo that became very successful inside and outside of Route66 Club. In fact, a part of their Thursday & Saturday night residency, they have been also headliners for most of the major parties like Halloween, NYE and the famous Song Kran Water Festival at Route 66 and got interviewed on MET 107FM Bangkok’s dance music radio station. During the past 3 years they have been spreading their sound at Illuzion club in Phuket, Sugar Beat in Hat Yai, U-Bar in Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani and many other clubs around Thailand & South-East Asia. Dekitaly is now based in Marseille (France) where he is working on his own music. His love for house music and DJ experience brought him to produce tracks full of fresh vibes, coloured synths and sexy vocals.
