Dave Gadbois

I have been DJing for the last 38 years, remixing and producing for the last 28 of those years. I have remixed for such services as Hot Tracks and Xmix, plus solo artists with about 60+ remixes on his discography. I was also a writer and reviewer for DJ Times and was very active at the DJ Times International DJ Convention where I was a panelist on the producer / remixer pannel for 12 years. I have Djed all over the world and at clubs up and down the east coast. was a member in good standing of Dixie Dance Kings, one of the premier record pools in the southeast. Now located in Birmingham AL. I am still producing and remixing but have expanded my company into the photo, video, and lighting systems market. Rebranding in 2018 after a major back injury kept me out of the clubs and for a time out of my studio the new company is called (2ND Half Media). Now that the back issues are under control I am planning to take my company and music up a notch cuz they say 52 is the new 38 and most of the real deal DJs and producers are 45 and older. I have put far more than 10,000 hours into learning my skill. I still have my vinyl and will be buried with my pair of Technique 1200s with my copy of Kraftwerk. I will continue to give back to a profession that has given me a life that I have loved living. I have also mentored many DJs and producers repaying the favor that was given to me at the beginning of my career. 2 things I tell new producers.
